I just received my order in a reusable packaging. What do I do now?

Nice one! It feels good hearing that. Next step is very easy and simple. Just fold the RePack to letter size, make the return flap visible and simply drop your empty RePack into a letterbox and return it to us.

Once returned we check it, clean it and send your returnable bag back to the webstores to be reused.

This way we reduce the need for single-use packaging. Nice!

How long will it take to get my voucher after I have returned the RePack?

Returned RePacks travel through the postal system.

You can drop the used RePack to a local mailbox and usually within a week a voucher will be sent to your email.

How can I be sure that a RePack has returned?

When you see a voucher in your email you can be sure that the RePack has returned safely to its destination. And no need to worry: RePacks are known for their toughness and endurance!

However, just like with any other mail deliveries, even RePack can sometimes get lost on its way. If you suspect that your RePack has disappeared, so if you haven’t received your voucher within a few weeks, contact us and we will fix things.

What happens if RePack doesn’t go back home after I have returned it?

It’s theoretically possible for a RePack to get lost on its way. It's after all Post we're talking about..

If you suspect that your package has disappeared, so if you haven’t received your voucher within a few weeks, contact us and we will fix it.

Is my purchase safe in a RePack?

RePacks are designed to be used for at least 20 times. This means that our reusable packages are super durable.

In fact, RePack outsmarts any average single-use packaging in many ways. Not only are they more durable, they're also more sustainable and, not to brag, good-looking too!

There’s no need to worry about safety issues either: RePack is sealed with a sticker so that your order cannot be easily reached.

What kind of packages do you have?

Reusable and returnable RePacks come in various shapes and sizes. We’re testing new models and materials all the time. You can download our current reusable packaging info here

How many times can a single RePack be used?

RePacks are designed to be used for at least 20 times, so the packages are, in fact, super durable. There are even rumors about toughest RePacks having 50 delivery gigs under their belts.

What materials have been used for the packages?

RePacks come in different shapes and materials. We’ve made them out of polypropylene, polyethylene and cardboard. RePack is about reuse, not just recycling. That meand materials we use need to be durable and sustainable.

So, all materials are durable and 100 % recyclable.

We’ve also made packages out of old advertising banners, giving them a new lease of life as an e-commerce delivery bag. New materials are being tried out, and if they are proven to be durable and recyclable, they're good for reusable packaging.

Do you use recycled materials in your reusable packaging?

We are happy to say RePack’s are made from recycled material. PP is durable, lightweight and recyclable.

We would love to use biobased material but have not found a solution. Yet. Why? Because the material is not designed to be reusable. And we're all about reuse. But the day will come when reusable packaging is made from biobased materials, I'm sure of that.

How much does it cost to return a RePack?

For you: nada! The return costs of your returnable packaging have already been paid for you. You can return RePack free of charge by dropping it to any mailbox in the world.

It's never been easier to reduce trash.

What to do if the package gets torn/damaged?

We hope that you will return your reusable packaging regardless of its condition. You will receive a reward even for returning a damaged RePack too, as we want to keep our promise and bring RePacks back home, no matter what condition they are in.

In case of damaged RePack we don't throw them away, absolutely not. We use the material and upcycle it in new prototypes and new products.

Do the packages get easily torn?

RePacks are designed to be reused at least 20 times so the packages are super durable. There are even rumors of some tough RePacks having been reused at least 50 times.

Which web stores are using RePack?

All stores that user our reusable packaging service be found here. The reusable revolution is on its way and new stores are RePacking. To be up-to-date about what's happening you can follow us by subscribing to our newsletters.

Where can I use my voucher?

You can find all the stores using reusable RePack packaging here.

Can I use the discount voucher for products that are already discounted?

This depends on each web store and their policies, so you should ask them. I'm sure they're happy to help.

Why should I return my RePack

Returning really matters. Each returned RePack removed the need for single-use packaging. But RePack is not also designed to be reusable, so if you keep it, make sure you reuse it :)

And remember, you can always return your RePack later.

What is the environmental impact of reusable packaging?

Since RePack is designed to last at least 20 times we compared one RePack to 20 disposable packages that were thrown away after one use. Comparison showed that RePack has up to 80 % smaller carbon footprint compared to throw away packages. You can download the study here.

RePack is designed to be returned and reused, removing disposable packaging waste every time it is used. So, in essence, it's a no trash packaging solution.

Do I have to return my RePack?

Well of course you don’t have to! Just like you don’t have to return a deposit bottle either. RePack is designed to be reused, so if you have a need to use it then go ahead. In fact, it would be cool to see people using their RePacks for something totally different than what they were originally designed for.

I want to return my purchase to the webstore, what do I do?

Inside the RePack you should have a sticker with preprinted customer return address. Use this sticker to seal the packaging and simply drop your RePack to a postbox near you. Once its received at the webstore your customer return is handled and you will be rewarded with a voucher for your next purchase. Yes, we will reward you with a voucher even if you return your purchase. This is way we can get the RePack ready for next order and back to removing trash.

Is that a Estonian return address? Why is that?

Yes, you got good eyes! RePack returns hub is based in Estonia, and the returns are handled there.

Of course we know, that this is nothing to proceed within the long term. Once we have settled some significant RePack traffic in central Europe, such as Netherlands, Germany, UK or France, we will set up a return address in one of these countries. But setting up full logistics operations in a country without having any volume in the first place doesn’t make any sense. So there will be some transition time in between.

(However, believe us or not, if you look at the carbon footprint, it actually doesn’t make a huge difference.)

I like RePack very much, but it does not fit to my branding!! What can I do?

You have three options:
Here is Option 1: Make a trial and just try it out. We help you collect the necessary feedback. (So far, we found, that the vast majority of consumers love RePack regardless of the colour).

Option 2: Let your customers actively chose RePack in the checkout process, so these ones expect your delivery coming in RePack.

Option 3: Simply talk to us. We are constantly working on new colours and materials. However, in most cases, custom Repacks demand some minimum volumes. But let’s see and talk, if there’s also something in it for you, or if you can bundle forces with another webshop.
